Complex trauma can occur in a variety of forms, but some of the primary markers include difficulty regulating emotions, pervasive feelings of shame and worthlessness, problems forming healthy relationships, dissociation, persistent negative beliefs about oneself, and even re-experiencing traumatic memories through flashbacks or nightmares.

Complex trauma differs from simple trauma in that it takes more time and attachment-love to facilitate healing and recovery, whereas simple trauma tends to be healed more quickly.

We live in a world that is both physical and spiritual in nature. The spiritual world is as real as the physical one we live in, and the forces there work hard to mess our lives up. Deliverance ministry is part of how we deal with these forces who consistently bring confusion and torment into our lives.

Our process and approach is gentle—the authority and power of Jesus is enough to deal with the demonic. There is no need for heightened emotions or any form of aggression.

Integrated healing ministry is the approach to seeing people as “whole beings”—body, soul and spirit, and treating accordingly. It can be approached in a wide variety of ways, but for us it involves a deep understanding of how the body processes emotion, how the brain processes and heals from trauma (psychology), how relationships do-or-don’t bring healing, and how all of these things (and more) work together with the spirit to bring healing and freedom that you can genuinely live your life from.

Heart of Heaven does not engage in one-on-one ministry with the opposite sex. There will always be a minister of the same sex present.

Heart of Heaven deeply values trust within relationship. We want you to have the confidence that all of our ministry sessions are entirely confidential, because they are.

Heart of Heaven offers all of our ministries services free of charge.

Our supporters enable us to offer this gift so that finances are never a barrier to receiving needed ministry. For clients who are able, we also extend the invitation to pay forward the blessing you're receiving by also donating financially.

We're not sure. While we're not proponents of "forever" sessions that you'll attend for the rest of your life, the healing process is a journey—one that we're here for, however long is needed. Four-to-six sessions with us is fairly common, but some need more; and there's no shame in that.

This is also part of why we do not charge fees for our ministry; many simply cannot afford to pay for ongoing ministry. We don't want anything to stand in the way of your healing and freedom.

Who knows, haha. We’re just us, doing this because we care deeply about God’s kids and by his grace he has equipped us to help bring healing to the hurting, restoration to the breaking, and freedom to those who are bound up.
