Suzanne Richter serves as the Prayer Team Leader for Heart of Heaven, where she oversees the ministry’s prayer team and the daily operations of the inner healing prayer ministry. She coordinates prayer ministry sessions by scheduling Prayer Ministers and clients while providing ongoing care, encouragement, and support throughout each client’s healing journey. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, Suzanne serves as a Prayer Minister in Broken Soul Ministry, walking alongside individuals as they encounter the healing, freedom, and restoration found through Jesus Christ. Her heart is to create a safe, Christ-centered environment where people can experience the love of Jesus, find healing for their broken hearts, and walk in the freedom He created them to live.

In December 2023, Suzanne co-founded Heart of Heaven with her husband, Geoffrey Richter, and ministry partners Matt and Lilibeth Kindle. Drawing from more than 35 years of ministry experience, she recognized that many sincere believers continued to struggle with emotional and spiritual wounds despite faithfully attending church. Heart of Heaven was established to help people experience the lasting inner healing, freedom, and restoration that Jesus Christ offers.

A graduate of Abilene Christian University with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Suzanne began her career teaching Special Education while supporting Geoffrey as he completed his master’s degree. Throughout more than 35 years of ministry, she has faithfully served alongside her husband as he ministered in churches in Utah, Oklahoma, and Texas, embracing the unique opportunities of ministry life and investing in the spiritual growth of countless individuals and families.

From 2008 to 2017, Suzanne and her family served as missionaries in Burkina Faso, West Africa. During that time, Suzanne’s heart for vulnerable children led her to establish Infants in Distress in 2009, a ministry that has helped more than 1,000 babies survive and thrive. She also founded the Young Scholars Program, providing educational opportunities for orphaned children through tuition assistance and school supplies. Today, many of those students have become teachers, nurses, police officers, electricians, plumbers, seamstresses, secretaries, and other skilled professionals, creating lasting change for themselves, their families, and their communities.

While Suzanne has served in many ministry roles, she considers her greatest calling to be raising her four children—Caleb, Seth, London, and Micah. She chose to leave the classroom to become a full-time wife, mother, and homeschool educator, devoting herself to nurturing in her children a genuine love for Jesus Christ and a lifelong love of learning. Today, each of her children faithfully follows the Lord and is established in his or her chosen profession.

Suzanne’s ministry is shaped not only by her years of service but also by her personal testimony. After years of struggling inwardly with mental and emotional turmoil, she began her own healing journey more than a decade ago. Through receiving prayer ministry from Matt Kindle using the same biblical prayer ministry model now practiced at Heart of Heaven, Suzanne experienced the transforming power of Jesus Christ. She discovered the peace, freedom, and joy that had long seemed unattainable. Having personally experienced the healing love of Christ, she now has a deep passion to walk alongside others as they discover that same hope, healing, and freedom.

When she is not serving in ministry, Suzanne enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, whom she considers one of God’s greatest blessings. She loves visiting her children and their spouses, cheering on her youngest daughter as she photographs Texas A&M sporting events, and spending time fishing along the Texas coast with Geoffrey and their dear friends, Matt and Lilibeth Kindle.

Suzanne’s life is a testimony to God’s redeeming grace and healing power. Having personally experienced the freedom Christ offers, she considers it a privilege to walk alongside others as Jesus heals broken hearts, brings lasting freedom, and leads them into the abundant life He created them to live. She looks forward to welcoming you to Heart of Heaven and trusting God with you on your own journey toward healing, freedom, and restoration.
