Lisa has been a follower of Jesus Christ for more than forty years. Although she came to faith as a teenager and was active in evangelical churches for most of her life, she had little understanding of inner healing, listening prayer, or deliverance ministry. About ten years ago, the Lord began drawing her into a much deeper relationship through listening prayer. As she learned to quiet her heart, recognize His voice, and receive His love, prayer became an ongoing conversation rather than simply bringing requests before God. Through this journey, she discovered more fully her identity as God’s beloved daughter, and her understanding of Scripture, spiritual warfare, and the transforming power of Christ took on new depth. She came to see that the greatest spiritual battle is often fought in the human heart and mind, where Jesus desires to bring truth, healing, and freedom.
While serving in a women’s jail ministry, Lisa became increasingly burdened for women whose deepest wounds could not be addressed through Bible studies alone. She recognized the profound need for inner healing, deliverance, and intentional discipleship that would help people renew their minds and embrace their identity in Christ. God graciously led her to Heart of Heaven, where she first experienced the discipleship and deliverance process personally. Through that journey, she encountered Jesus in deeply personal ways that brought freedom, healing, and greater intimacy with Him. Today, Lisa has the privilege of serving alongside Geoffrey, helping others encounter the love of Christ, receive healing from painful memories, extend and receive forgiveness, break free from spiritual bondage, and walk more fully in the abundant life Jesus promises. Few things bring her greater joy than witnessing the Holy Spirit transform lives through the love and power of Jesus.
Lisa believes the Lord has expanded the gifts He has entrusted to her over the years. While she once recognized gifts of evangelism, faith, and prophecy, He has also cultivated in her a deeper ministry of prayer, discernment, compassion, and love for people seeking freedom in Christ. She is a grateful wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoys sharing delicious meals with family and friends, playing pickleball, hiking, taking walks, watching sunsets, reading, and continually learning more about the heart of God. She considers it a tremendous privilege to walk with others as Jesus restores hearts, renews minds, and reveals the fullness of His love.
