Simply put, you cannot counsel or disciple a demon out of a believer. It must be cast out (delivered) from you. You see, demons and spirits get attached to us when we open doors for them to gain access to our lives. If we are not careful, they may even develop a stronghold in our lives bringing confusion, torment, and distance between us and Christ. That’s why this ministry is so needed. We must not only close those doors and demolish those strongholds but also drive out any demons that are lingering around. Otherwise, we will continue to be influenced and tormented by them. Don’t worry this is a gentle process that relies on the authority and power of Jesus Christ. Most of the time they leave without any apparent fight or drama. Just say the word – if you gave them permission to come into your life, you can just as easily tell them to go!
